It’s the perfect add on to a cruise beginning or ending in Skagway or Anchorage.  Our new Coast to Coast Great Gay self-drive takes you from historic coastal towns of Skagway and Juneau on the Inside Passage to Anchorage on the shores of Cook Inlet.  You’ll visit no less than 5 national parks and historic sites on this tour.  Learn about Yukon and Alaska’s exciting Gold Rush history in Whitehorse and Skagway, thrill at mountain views in Kluane, view wildlife in the shadows of Mt. McKinley, gaze upon whales and sea lions and see cascading tidewater glaciers in Kenai Fjords National Park.  And, experience contemporary life in two of Alaska’s largest cities; Juneau and Anchorage!

In all likelihood, gay isn't the first word that pops to mind when you think of Alaska. But if your vision of the last frontier includes only polar bears and oil drillers, look again.  Alaska is the land of extremes and the Anchorage gay scene is no exception. With most of the gay community located on the north side of downtown, you'll find the locals friendly and ready to party. Anchorage, like many small cities, is home to a diverse population that includes many gays and lesbians. And, since there aren't that many people in the whole state, all the queers tend to stick together. So you might walk into a bar and find drag queens, lesbians and bears all partying together, and keeping warm through those long Alaskan winter nights – so make sure to check-out Anchors Away Bar or Mad Myrna's The drag king and queen capital of Alaska ---- there’s tons of exciting events throughout the week at Myrna's but the highlight is the weekend drag shows!

While in Whitehorse you’ll get 24 hours of GAYLIGHT!  The great “OUT” doors as it’s called (up there) just held their first Pride Parade, and Whitehorse’s lesbian community outnumbers gay men by about 20:1!

We’re certain while touring you’ll have plenty of time to check-out these “gay gems” of the North!
