Arrive Quebec City for your winter adventure and check into your centrally located gay-friendly hotel accommodation where you will stay for the next 2, or 3 nights – you choose!  Our hotel options can place you inside the Walled City or in the Lower Town, all excellent choices.

From November to March, Quebec City embraces an invigorating season.  And because snow doesn’t last forever, better make the most of it while it falls!  Discover the exhilarating and entertaining activities that Quebecers enjoy during the whimsical months of winter. A great time to travel is January 31 – February 16, 2014during the Quebec Winter Carnival, the biggest winter carnival in the world with its magical nightly parades!

Exuberant, romantic Quebec City welcomes you…set in a beautiful natural background of Vieux-Quebec (Old Quebec) is small and dense, steeped in four centuries of history and French traditions.  Because of the site’s immaculate preservation as the only fortified city remaining in North America, UNESCO has designated Vieux-Quebec a World Heritage Site.

Start your Quebecois experience with a night to remember – a Quebecois dining experience at Aux Anciens Canadiens.  Housed in the historic Maison Jacquet, the oldest house in Quebec, dating back to 1675-76, the restaurant continues to be known internationally for its fine cuisine and warm Quebec hospitality.

The following morning you will take off on an authentically romantic, historically enriching, unforgettable “Caleche” (Horse-drawn carriage) tour of Old Quebec, the birthplace of French civilization in North America over 400 years ago.  After the tour take some time to explore Quartier Petit Champlain, it’s a MUST-SEE – At the bottom of Côte de la Montagne, escalier Casse-Cou (Breakneck Stairs, walk down them but not up!) and the funicular(elevator ride up), lies the Petit-Champlain district, a picture-perfect neighbourhood resembling a quaint riverside village with plenty of exclusive boutiques, restored houses now home to bistros, art galleries and specialized handicraft boutiques.  If shopping’s up you alley then be sure to head to Place Laurier for great one-of-a-kind boutiques and the always chic Simon’s department store – it’s GREAT; you can also take the FREE shuttle to Place Laurier, ask you concierge at the hotel.

Be sure to stop in for your Rainbow Martini at Bar Le Drague! – A must have!  Le Drague triples as a cabaret, a club and a trendy spot and has proudly welcomed an open-minded and diverse clientele for 30 years running. Multiple zones with distinct ambiances and activities have been set up; the cabaret zone offers shows featuring female impersonators (our famous Drag Queens!) who will wow you with singing, dancing, humor and variety.

Finally, you’ll visit the amazing, glittery Hotel de Glace or Ice Hotel.  This hotel impresses through its unique character and magical design. You'll be dazzled by the majestic ice chandelier, popular ice slide, Ice Bar and ice chapel. You’ll be treated to a tour of the hotel and sip on a martini served in an ice glass at the end of the tour.  For those lucky enough to stay a third night in Quebec City, you have something very special I store for you – Spend the night in one of the Hotel de Glace (Ice Hotel) 36 rooms or suites and enjoy access to the outdoor spas and sauna!

Winter in Quebec City – it’s truly a WHITE PARTY!
