Winter Wonderlands

Winter in Canada may not be warm, but that does not mean you have to leave the country to find a great vacation during or after the holiday season. There's plenty to see and do in cities like Ottawa and Quebec, as both welcome winter with a wide selection of events and activities that impress all but the most heated of snow haters. Rainbow High Vacation offers two different, but equally good, packages to these cities that show travellers the highlights of what they have to offer at this time of year.

Travel to Ottawa to skate on the Rideau Canal or see the Christmas decorations on Confederation Boulevard. When your done with ice, have a Beavertail, or go to Nordik Spa for some warm relaxation. Or see Quebec City and spend a night at the Hotel de Glace (Ice hotel) and tour old Quebec aboard a horse-drawn carriage. Both cities offer their own winter festivals, Winterlude in Ottawa (with its grand display of ice sculptures) and the Winter Carnival in Quebec (which offers a nightly parade). Both events begin January 31 2014 and run until February 16 (Quebec) and 17 (Ottawa).

However you want to customize these packages, Rainbow High Vacations can do just that. You can easily add extra nights or tours to make the most of your city stay. Just contact us at 1-800-387-1240 or email us to arrange all your vacation details.
